So testsaslauthd is by fiat, not by your choice of all the tools out there,
sorry if i missed that in previous message.  If i'm understanding correctly,
Likewise might offer an alternative approach (so not relevant to an
assignment to use a specific tool); i have not in fact used it, just seen
it at LUG meetup.
