[LinuxUsers] Ubuntu user troubles

By chance, are you using the icon login for Ubuntu? Meaning instead of
typing the username at the login you select an icon? If so are you
certain the keyboard is dvorak? Its possible to have different
keyboard layouts for each user. The system can have a default but you
can override that per user as needed.

If you are typing the username then that is not the issue.

While logged in as the original user you could open a terminal/shell
and "su otherusername" and try to login that way to make sure it
works.
