Hey Adam,
I can only comment on what I have, I am using a hauppauge PVR-150 it has been great so far and picks up all the channels on my cable, Charter. The quality seems comparable to watching on a regular tv, maybe a little more noise. Also CPU usage is great due to the built in mpeg2 encoder.

Subject: [LinuxUsers] MythTV Analog Tuner Card Suggestions?
Hello Everyone,
I am looking for any suggestions or recommendations for an analog tuner card for my Mythbuntu system
I currently use a HDHomeRun but it will only receive unencrypted digital broadcasts.
My local cable company rebroadcasts a cable ready service (Analog signal) and I need an analog card to receive it. I am hoping for a hardware encoder or external unit like the HDHomeRun if possible, but will use a internal PCI card if I have to.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Adam Flaig
