Looks very interesting.  If I were ten or fifteen years younger I'd 
possibly do something like this.  Maybe I still will <smile>.

Top access for drives can work, even in a packed rack, as long as the 
server is on sturdy rails so it can be pulled if/when the need arises 
to replace a drive.
