[LinuxUsers] Comments on major Linux distros and touch computing

So one of the things I see Linux falling behind, whether due to manufacturer
participation or cooperation is Linux and touchscreen based computing.
Besides Android which is specific built and does NOT support high-res
displays greater than 800x400, there is not really much touchscreen support
in the major distros like Fedora, Ubuntu, etc.

Windows 7 now has full support of touchscreen interfaces, capacitive,
resistive, optical, etc...  With the advent of touch computing about to
break out I want to know what people think or if there's some cool projects
out there trying to change this.
