I'd love to agree with you. And that's certainly been the case in the
past. And most of us would argue that it should continue to be the
case.
But in local area networks I see samba as the most convenient way to
connect systems even in a totally non-MS environments. If there are
better solutions that are just as seamless, please educate me :).
