[LinuxUsers] samba over the 'net?

Having a SAMBA share open to what.  Just having one in a datacenter
but locked down with firewalls could  be ok.  One should never have an
open  share of any kind.  If you need to extend a share beyond a local
LAN, use a VPN or some P2P Tunneling software such as Hamachi.
