[LinuxUsers] MySQL Founder asking for help "to save MySQL"- should we care?

If they wanted to not lose control of it (have it discontinued, become
closed source, or otherwise) they probably shouldn't have sold it in the
first place, or at the very least structured the deal in such a way so that
something like this wouldn't be possible (although I don't know much about
the deal and whether or not this would be something that would have been
feasible to do, legally).
