[LinuxUsers] Using git with your home directory

Not long ago when we were discussing etckeeper it sounded like a few people
were interested in using version control to maintain files.  I have a
overboard solution that I use on my work machines, but at home I hadn't
really put together anything for maintaining my dot files and other files in
my home directory.  I just wrote a short guide on how to use git with your
home directory.  I hope it is useful.
