I thought 2008 was the year of the Linux Desktop.  There's been a
plethora of laptops and other devices launched with Linux for it's OS.
 I'll stick my neck out!

Yeah,  true that it will be years if not decade's before it gets close
to the market share that the MS OS's have, but who cares.  World
domination shouldn't be goal for Linux.
It's just better should.

As for the rest of the article, very optimistic!
