Just open up the universe and multiverse repos and add the Medibuntu repo.  That should cover all the codecs, players, flash, etc......

Yeah, okay.... I'll just have to install whatever it needs the right way. I thought that there was some propietary
stuff that had to be installed that easy ubuntu supplied, and that it gave you a bunch of apps in one "fell swoop" 

so I figured it was a time saver.
