I've always thought that with Linux older was better in terms of 
hardware support.

It cost me $45 from Frys with a $45 rebate, so it's not the end of the 
world if I buy another later, or if I return it and buy another now; 
either works.

But I really do want to at least see 3D, even if I later decide to not 
use it.
