[LinuxUsers] ubuntu 64bit question

Regarding my new desktop machine I mentioned the other day, using an 
Intel Q8200 quad processor ...

Will 64-bit Ubuntu run on this Intel processor?  Or does it require an 
AMD processor?  I'd like to know which one to download <smile>.
