Interesting review. We're happily using Dovecot on the hosting servers
we use ourselves, and on those we build for others, and Exim as our
MTA. I wrote the exim.conf file which moves the email into the imap
directory structure.
So far we're happy.
Had this been available earlier would I have still used Dovecot? Not
sure.
